To the sixteen year old Cherie, Life can be hard now, studying for O levels trying to get into a reputable junior college and everything. But hang on, its all going to be worth it. Two years down the road, you will get into your dream course in a local university, making your parents proud, relatives proud. Life is not all about studying. Treasure your friends; they are the ones who will be there for you when you are at your lowest. They will help you through your first heartbreak, setbacks in schools, bring you through obstacles. Do not be afraid to open your heart to the person you love. Embrace love and enjoy every moment of it. Do not be afraid of heartbreak. He will teach you valuable lessons in life, input excitement and values in your life. In a few years’ time, he will become the most beautiful memory in your life. Do not be afraid to try new stuff and step out of your comfort zone. You will become more sociable and fun to be with. Don’t fear. When everyone starts getting attached, do not be sad for yourself. Out there, there will be someone waiting for you, the one right for you. People may misunderstand you but as long as you know yourself it’s okay. Do not be scared of venturing into new relationships, you may get something beautiful out of it.
